The Office of the California Attorney General published a Consumer Alert that documents residents’ immigration rights and protections under the law, including protections from housing discrimination, access to emergency medical care, and right to free public education for children regardless of immigration status. The AG also conducted five regional meetings in early 2025 to share know your rights resources for immigrants and connect with immigrant rights groups and elected officials on this across the state.
