Short Description
The South Burlington City Council unanimously adopted R-2026-05, condemning the enforcement, surveillance, and practices of ICE and Border Patrol; objecting to the use of any city or state facility or staff for warrantless surveillance and monitoring of residents; and reaffirming the city’s Declaration of Inclusion and the police department’s Fair and Impartial Policing Policy, which bars officers from assisting ICE without a judicial criminal warrant.
