Short Description

The City Council of Bend, Oregon passed a resolution reaffirming the city’s commitment to being welcoming and inclusive and directing city staff to coordinate with community partners and other local governments to develop programs for education and community support to address emergency impacts of federal immigration enforcement. The city council also directed the city manager to provide $100,000 to the Latino Community Association, including $50,000 to provide assistance and support for those in immigrant communities directly impacted by federal immigration enforcement.
