California Governor Gavin Newsom and Attorney General Rob Banta announced the launch of an online portal to help the public share information with the California Department of Justice about potentially unlawful activity by federal agents. The portal allows members of the public to upload videos and photos to help the DOJ create a record of such activity and possibly inform legal actions the state may take to protect residents’ rights.
