Connecticut Governor Ned Lamont and Education Commissioner Charlene Russell-Tucker announced new Connecticut State Department of Education guidance for school districts on questions relating to federal immigration enforcement activity. The guidance was issued to every K-12 public school district in the state and provides them to a framework to develop policies and procedures that protect students rights and abide by federal and state law.
