Short Description

The Oregon Attorney General issued a notice of investigation and demand to cease and desist unlawful actions to the U.S. Attorney General and Secretary of Homeland Security, concerning reported excessive use of force by Department of Homeland Security employees in the state in fall 2025. The Oregon DOJ demanded that federal officers (1) cease and desist from all unlawful and unconstitutional actions in Oregon, (2) provide and require adequate training, (3) maintain communication with local law enforcement, (4) investigate all allegations of excessive force, and (5) cooperate with all state investigations.
