Short Description

Seattle Mayor Bruce Harrell issued an executive order that establishes a Seattle Resilience Task Force. This entity is tasked with coordinating citywide interdepartmental planning and response in response to potential National Guard or other federal deployments to Seattle. The taskforce is led by the Mayor’s Office and includes participation from the Seattle Police Department, Seattle Fire Department, Office of Emergency Management, Community Assisted Response and Engagement Department, Office of Immigrant and Refugee Affairs, Office of Intergovernmental Relations, Department of Neighborhoods, and the Human Services Department.
